Quarter of activity from e-business

Eriks/Tradcom wants to increase its e-business to account for 25% for all activities, both in purchasing and sales. It has to develop its business relations for this, and convince as many partners as possible to take a step in the same direction.

Platform to support future growth

A first important step was to select the right system. “Cnext helped us choose a platform to support both the current and future situation,” says Steven Luyckx, Operations Manager for Eriks/Tradcom. The platform had to be able to process projects cost-efficiently. “It enables us to connect internal ERP and logistics systems, without affecting our technical possibilities for connecting to external partners, sharing and using data, and providing web services.

More than just an advisory role

Cnext’s advisory role goes further than just selecting and implementing systems. “They also help to maintain guaranteed high levels of system availability, for example, and run special procedures in the event of any problems,” explains Steven Luyckx.

Cnext has been doing operational and analytical work with Eriks/Tradcom in projects and short-term contracts since 2009. “Cnext always brings capable people to the team, and flexibility is guaranteed without losing sight of project risks thanks to the way they work with Agile and SCRUM,” concludes Steven Luyckx.
